Inline with this year’s theme, “Planning and Budgeting for Children’s Rights,” the New Dawn Pacesetter Organization is celebrating the Day of the African Child with schools in our community. This year’s observance focuses on assessing the progress made in mainstreaming children’s issues into national and local development agendas.
As part of the celebration, we are reflecting on how far we have come in prioritizing children’s needs—especially in education, health, and protection—through proper planning and allocation of resources. By engaging schools and students, we aim to raise awareness about children’s rights and encourage active participation in shaping a future where every child is valued, heard, and empowered.
