At our organization, we empower indigenous communities by strengthening the voices of the less privileged and creating opportunities for women and youth. We work to ensure that every child receives equal access to quality education, free from cultural, health, and gender barriers. Our programs support women through economic empowerment initiatives and community-led projects, driving sustainable gender mainstreaming across Laikipia North, Isiolo North, and Samburu East Sub-Counties.
What We Do
Principles Of Our Work
Founder's Statement
Emily Lerosion is a seasoned human rights defender and community development advocate from the Samburu indigenous community. Motivated by her personal experiences and the struggles she witnessed among girls and vulnerable children, Emily dedicated her career to amplifying marginalized voices. Through her work with organizations like PA-MOJA Connecting People and Wildlife, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and Samburu Women Trust, she recognized that even when girls received educational scholarships, they continued to face harmful cultural practices and discrimination during school holidays. Determined to create lasting change, Emily established a women- and youth-led organization committed to empowering indigenous communities. We promote equal access to education, combat all forms of discrimination, and drive economic empowerment for women. By collaborating with grassroots women and community partners, Emily envisions a future where every woman, girl, and vulnerable child thrives with dignity and equal opportunities. Inspired by the words of Harriet Tubman, Emily believes that real change begins with a dreamer.
